day 1 GUATEMALA

Welcome at Guatemala City airport. Assistance and transfer to hotel for accommodation.

day  2 GUATEMALA-ANTIGUA

After breakfast, enjoy a tour of Guatemala City, the National Palace, Metropolitan Cathedral, and Central Plaza, commercial and residential areas. At noon continue with a one hour drive to Antigua Guatemala .Lunch (on your account) at local restaurant upon arrival. In the afternoon visit among others, the Main Plaza, Cathedral, Captains Palace, San Francisco and Capuchinas Church. Accommodation in Hotel in Antigua.

day  3 THURSDAY/SUNDAY ANTIGUA-CHICHICASTENANGO-PANAJACHEL

 Early departure to the city of Chichicastenango, famous for its open air market full of color, tradition and mysticism. Free time for shopping and to visit the surroundings. We continue to the nearby town of Panajachel where we can admire one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, Lake Atitlán, free time for lunch (on your account) and walk along the Bohemia street Santander.

Accommodation in Panajachel, we will recommend one of the many restaurants for dinner and to enjoy nightlife in “Pana”.

day  4 SANTIAGO-GUATEMALA

 Short walk to the public docks. Sail over Atitlan’s lake with the breathtaking view of three volcanoes, visit the picturesque town of Santiago and its colorful market and church. Return to Panajachel for lunch (on youraccount), and late afternoon transfer to Guatemala City for accommodation.

day  5 GUATEMALA/FLORES/TIKAL

Early transfer to the airport to board your flight to Flores, Petén. On arrival at Santa Elena airport, our representative will bring you to the archeological site of Tikal.  Visit the main Plaza, the central and northern Acropolis, Lost World and Temple IV, from where you will observe the majesty of the city and the emerald green jungle.  Lunch at the Park.  After lunch visit the museum where you can appreciate exhibits of ceramics and jade found in the Mayan tombs. Transfer to your hotel in Flores.

day  06 FLORES-YAXHA GUATEMALA

After Breakfast, visit of the place where the famous program “Survivor” took place. The archaeological site itself is a jewel of the Mayan culture, beautifully preserved routes lead us to the nine acropolis and five hundred structures. From the top of a temple you can admire the view of the Yaxha lagoon and the three islands of Cante, Paxte and Topoxte. Enjoy your lunch and return to Flores.In the afternoon transfer to Flores Airport to board your flight to Guatemala. Upon arrival transfer with hotel’s shuttle. Accommodation in Guatemala City.

Day 07 GUATEMALA- HONDURAS Transfer to the bus station To copan ruins Night accomodation on copan

Day 08 – COPAN RUINS  –  MACOW MOUNTAIN .

They cover some of the largest and most important sources of information of the ancient Mayan civilization, due to its impressive artistic development it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (does not include tunnels or museum) after lunch (not included) we will visit the mountain of birds sanctuary that is dedicated to the reincorporation of birds to their natural habitat – Accommodation in copan ruins.

day  09 PRIVATE TRANSFER  COPAN – SAN SALVADOR.

Arrival in El Salvador and transfer to hotel. During the evening you can visit some of popular areas in the capital such as Multiplaza, Gran via or Paseo El Carmen all with night life.   Accommodation in San Salvador.

day 10   CITY TOUR, HANDCRAFTS MARKET AND MUSEUM

Our local guide will be happy to show you our capital San Salvador and learn all about the country’s history, culture and people. We began visiting La Puerta del Diablo, where we have a breathtaking view of the Volcanoes of El Salvador, Then tour of the Historic Center of San Salvador, with its cathedral and Mausoleum of Monsignor Romero; Furthermore panoramic tour of modern and new neighborhoods of San Salvador. Free time for lunch (food not included). In the afternoon visit the colorful handicraft market and also the anthropology museum which contains an interesting collection of pieces from the Maya period and more separated into 4 main rooms. Day 11 SAN SALVADOR VOLCANO – ARCHAEOLOGICAL ROUTE

We begin our tour of the day with a visit to Boquerón National Park located in the upper part of San Salvador`s volcano and from there get a beautiful view of the city among other attractions. Then visit the Archaeological Park of San Andrés and the ruins of Tazumal, both are vestiges of Mayan culture that inhabited our country for hundreds of years, later visit the city of Santa Ana, the second largest of El Salvador with its interesting theater and center historical. At the end of the afternoon we arrive to the charming town of Ataco. Accommodation in Ataco (B)

day  12 ATACO

At mid-morning enjoy tasting coffee and visit a farm of over a hundred years where the grain is processed. In the evening enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot springs and return to your hotel. Accommodation in Ataco (B)

day 13 NAHUIZALCO – CERRO VERDE – COATEPEQUE

This day discover flowers and coffee route, we will drive thru typical mountain towns, in route cross themagnetic hill, the town of Izalco with great tradition since time colonial, arrive at mid-morning at Cerro Verde national park where we will walk around the rim for about 45 minutes where we will have beautiful views of the valley, volcanoes and lake. Accommodation in Lake Coatepeque (B/D)

day 14 COATEPEQUE – JOYA DE CEREN – SUCHITOTO

In the morning free time to appreciate Lake Coatepeque or take a scenic boat ride around the lake, this lake is listed as one of the wonders of the world, later departure to Joya de Ceren archaeological site showing a Mayan village and that was preserved by layers of ash from a nearby volcano and discovered by accident in 1977 world heritage of humanity volcano. We end our day in Suchitoto, a colonial town with cobblestone streets and colonial church. Accommodation in Suchitoto (B)

day 15  TRANSFER TO THE PORT LA UNION TAKE A BOUT TO PORT POTOSI NICARAGUA

Arriving from port La Unión, El Salvador to port Potosí, Chinandega in Nicaragua. Welcome and guided transfer to Leon. Lunch included. Afternoon City Tour  of  Leon. Overnight in Leon.

day  16- DAY OFF AT LEON

day  17: VOLCANO BOARD AT CERRO NEGRO & FLOR DE CAÑA TOUR        

Breakfast at the hotel. An expedition to the Cerro Negro Volcano in Leon. Volcano board at the youngest and one of the most active volcano in Nicaragua.  Cerro Negro is an active volcano and a popular site for volcano boarding by locals and tourists. We invite you to try this unspoiled playground for adrenaline. Lunch included in Leon.  From there visit to the most awarded rum in the world “Flor de Caña”.  Experience the tour of the factory and learn about how the rum is processed and be able to sample some of the delightful rum before visiting the Flor de Cana museum and free time at the boutique for shopping some souvenirs. Overnight in Leon.

day 18: MASAYA VOLCANO & CRAFT MARKET

Breakfast at the hotel. Explore the Masaya Volcano National Park and have a great time shopping for souvenirs at the city of Masaya, the handicrafts capitals of Nicaragua. This half day tour includes a visit to the Masaya Volcano, the first and largest national park establish in Nicaragua since 1979. This volcanically complex has an area of 54 km² includes two volcanoes and five craters having an elevation of 635 meters about sea level. This geological formation is part of the Quaternary volcanic range and its today, the only volcano in the western hemisphere where you are able to drive to the rim. Lunch included. Next, enjoy free time shopping for souvenirs at the city of Masaya including a visit to the handicrafts market.  Overnight in Granada.

day 19: COLONIAL GRANADA & LAKE NICARAGUA

Breakfast at the hotel. Discover the Spanish-colonial city of Granada, the third-oldest city in the Americas founded by Spanish captain Francisco Hernandez de Cordoba in 1524. Stopover at Doña Elba Cigars a small, family owned factory founded by the first cigar master in Granada Mr. Silvio Reyes since 1991. Explore the City; Colonial Churches and the famous La Calzada Street. Enjoy free time at the Central Park. Ending our tour enjoying a boat trip throughout the lush and romantic islets of Lake Nicaragua. Lunch included. Overnight in Granada.

day 20.  MOMBACHO VOLCANO ADVENTURE                 

Breakfast at the hotel. Amazing expedition into the trails of the Mombacho’s Volcano + Zip Line Tour with our expert local guide from the Mombacho! The Mombacho’s Volcano Natural Reserve is one of the 78 protected areas of Nicaragua. Walk thru the nature trails between cloud and dwarf forest and discoveryourself the most beautiful landscape of Nicaragua.  This tourist attraction has fantastic views of Lake Nicaragua and the city of Granada.  Enjoy a delicious lunch and spend the rest of the day Zip line or Canopy across the treetops at the Mombacho Volcano using the most advanced high angle equipment and technology. Overnight in Granada.

day 21.  OMETEPE ISLAND

Breakfast at the hotel. Land transfer to the port of San Jorge in Rivas, ferry crossing for the expedition to Ometepe Island declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in the year 2010. Today, you will enjoy some of the most spectacular views in all Nicaragua while we are visiting interesting places like the Numismatic and pre-Columbian museum El Ceibo,  we will spend time at El Ojo de Agua that consist of crystal clear spring-fed waters captured in two natural, stone pools set in the middle of a gorgeous and colorful botanical gardens. Lunch included.  Overnight in Santo Domingo beach at Ometepe Island.
